We offer FREE On-Site appointments during which we evaluate the grade to ensure that the proper amount of leveling material is on hand at the time of the build, and explain the events that will follow throughout the whole order process.
Included in the price is a course of solid blocking material that is placed on the ground to prevent settling as shown in the illustration. The blocking material is a combination of 2" x 8" x 16", & 4" x 8" x 16" in accordance to the actual grade. These blocks are commonly referred to as cinder pavers, or block cap. (Pre-built sheds that are delivered do not have center blocking, and will sag in the center over time.) 4 x 4 Pressure Treated runners that run the length of the building are placed on the solid blocking. The runners have a .40 rating that is grade stamped with a manufacturers warranty of 40 years at ground contact. On 8' wide sheds, just 2 runners are needed. The floor joists, are Pressure Treated 2 x 4's placed one foot on center for maximum support. ( NOTE ) On 12 x 12 Best Value, the floor joists are 2 x 6's. The floor sheathing is an exterior grade 4 Ply CDX that will support the weight of all yard equipment including riding mowers, roto tillers, shop equipment, etc.

Framing - Siding - Shingles
Wall studs and rafters are 2 x 4 Kiln Dried Spruce, rated grade #2 or better. Kiln dried lumber will not twist and turn, as will economy spruce, and yellow pine used by most kit companies. All wall studs are placed 16" on center. ( Same as your house ) The siding is made by Louisiana Pacific just for our industry that has a 30 Year Warranty. This A.P.A. rated siding called Smart Panel is a simulated T1-11 that is primed and ready to paint. The treatment process is for termites, carpenter ants, along with a Borate-Based Smart Guard to prevent fungal decay. ( Mold & Mildew ) Smart Panel is Warranted not to split, check, delaminate or buckle, and is less brittle than Hardi-Plank ! This is the perfect siding when you consider that the shed is subject to whatever the weather elements are ! We use only first quality roof shingles. Shingles to match your house are an available option.
Unique to All Build, we have added a 2 x 8 top plate on our side walls. This creates a soffit overhang, so that when it rains the water is not running down the siding rotting out the bottom 18" of the siding. We have also matched our Gable Fly rafters to the same width, giving the shed an equal continuity. This also enables us to place the door on any wall allowing you to designing the shed to best suit your needs.
To assure continuity, all of our sheds are pre-cut at our warehouse by my wife and I. We assemble all the rafters, and make the doors. We have a jig for every part on every shed. We then stack all the lumber for it to be forklifted on to our builders trailer. This way as the owners, we know that your shed will be exactly as the model we display.
